In December 2011, I drove my electric truck in the Kaysville City Christmas Lights Parade. I didn't realize the participants are supposed to throw candy to the crowd.  Being the energy conscious guy that I am, perhaps I should have thrown CFL bulbs instead.  

After months of pleading and working and struggling, In October 2011, I finally got my electric truck to go to the temple.  The Bountiful Temple is 15 miles from my house. The final stretch includes a 1000 foot elevation change. Driving on Lakeview Drive there is a 12% grade along the last mile and a half. To my knowledge, my truck is the first all- electric vehicle to ever reach this place.  Now, when we go to the temple once a month, we always take the electric truck.  It has now made the trek 6 times and counting.
